Layout v1.0

On July 16th 2006, Kokiri Kids was born. The domain and hosting was all set-up and ready to go, but the site was nowhere near finished! This layout is very basic and very poorly made. It was all coded and made by me (Kokiri Kid) and some of the images were produced by a friend (Julz). I was really experimenting and was very new to the game. I was learning new things everyday about web design. The Zelda community were very helpful! A week later it was ranked in Google and could be found many pages down. It isn't too pleasing to eye, but it goes down in KK history.

Layout v2.0

On December 1st 2006, Kokiri Kids released a new layout. This was a big leap forward from our previous one. There was a lot of help off 'Naruto' the webmaster for The Hylian legends (now closed). He coded and help make this fresh Kokiri Kids look but the image shown is a later one and the layout has been changed around since. I'm sorry but do not have an older image. This was the real birth of Kokiri Kids as this is when our great members started crawling in.

Forum History (Put together by our very own AlphaBlue-09)

16th of July, 2006
Founding of the Kokiri Kids Main Site (kokirikids.com) by Lee Hughes, a.k.a. Kokiri Kid, along with friends Julz and Domaners. The Kokiri Kids Forum was founded along with the main site.

As founder, Kokiri Kid was administrator and webmaster for the site, both main and forum. He appointed Julz and Domaners as moderators for the forums.

August - November, 2006
Members DarkStealth, KingofSentinels, AlphaBlue-09, and Hyrulian_Royalty were appointed as moderators, due to inactivity on the part of Julz and Domaners (who remain deeply respected KKF members to this day).

December, 2006
Chaos Black pulls a first for KKF for staying logged in for 24+ hours. Go Chaos!

16th of December, 2006
The first of the official Kokiri Kids Forum Parties was held. The event was an instant success, and successive parties have been planned for the future.

26th of December, 2006
Kokiri Kids Forum was believed to be maliciously hacked and put out of commission. This was due to the nature of the original forum: as a phpBB site, the forum was open-sourced, and thus vulnerable to unfriendly attention.

Thankfully, the main site itself remained up and running, allowing users to stay in touch.

30th of December, 2006
Kokiri Kids Basement was founded by Hyrulian_Royalty as a temporary retreat for KKF members. The Basement was utilized during the few days before the Forum was re-established. The Basement was thereafter abandoned.

5th of January, 2007
KKF was re-established as a vBulletin site, which is the best forum software around to date. Members gradually flocked back to the site they know and loved.

6th of January, 2007
The second KKF Party was held; due to the build in suspense, as well as the added suspense from the hacking, this was a popular (and rather active) party.

23rd of February, 2007
The KKF RPG was revived, and eventually granted its own board.

5th of March, 2007
Abijah was promoted to the position of moderator; this date marks the beginning of the distinction between moderators and "super moderators," the latter of whom act as administrators for the forum.

2nd of May, 2007
Skullkid700 was promoted to the position of moderator.
